Energy & Emotion in a Dog's World
I’m currently reading Cesar’s Way by Cesar Millan-nationally recognized dog expert and star of National Geographic’s Channel’s hit show the Dog Whisperer. I bought the book last year before I had a dog and finally started reading it this past week. In one of his chapters he talks about energy and emotion. Dogs can sense even the most subtle changes in the energy and emotions of humans around them. Animals can’t comprehend the context of our issues; they can’t distinguish whether we’re grieving from the loss of a loved one, we had a fight with a friend or spouse or we’re just having a bad hair day, because those very human situations mean nothing to them. However, such situations create emotions and those emotions are universal. It made me stop and think …What energy and emotions am I sending out into the Universe?

The attitude we project to others and out into the universe is what is reflected back to us. Haven’t you had one of those bad days where something goes wrong before your feet hit the floor, and then you stub your toe, run over a toy in the driveway all before you get out of the driveway? I’ve had those days! Now I am aware of what I’m attracting when I’m having a bad day—so I can stop that pattern. We’re all human after all, so we’re going to have bad days—it’s just a matter of recognizing those days and saying its okay—I want to make it better!

When you stop to think about the energy you project...when you really start to listen to your thoughts either verbal or internal self-talk it helps you to know what energy you send out in to the universe...there are many resources out there to help us understand that and to lift us up from what ever we want to rise above...I practice it...I can tell you both do too...I'm driven to be better and send better...stronger positive energy out in to the universe and your site...blog and words are helping facilitate that...
